- Suggested yarn: Category 4 worsted-weight cotton or cotton blend.
- Suggested hooks: 3.25 mm for the main pieces, or the size needed to match gauge; 2.75–3.25 mm for the miniature charms.
Also gather: Stuffing, covered craft wire, strong hanging cord, a flat button for the internal anchor, beads, safety eyes or embroidery thread, needles, stitch markers, scissors, a ruler, wire cutters and round-nose pliers. Small bells are optional.

What supplies will I need?
Typical amigurumi supplies include yarn, a suitable crochet hook, stuffing, stitch markers, a yarn needle and scissors. Some characters need additional materials. Follow the materials list for your chosen pattern before starting.
Can I use different yarn or colors?
Make the palette your own. Changing the yarn weight, fiber or hook size can also change the finished character’s size, texture and the amount of yarn needed. Use the pattern’s recommended materials as your starting point.
